Electricity

Wessington Springs power is municipally owned. The city has two back up generators to supply local power in case of an emergency.

Water

The supplier for water in Wessington Springs is the City of Wessington Springs. The source is our springs and wells. The system capacity is 500,000 gallons/per day. We have 30% usage of current capacity.

Sewer

Wessington Springs has a sanitary sewer.

Rubble Site

Wessington Springs has a local rubble site north of town. 11-4:30 Tuesday & Thursday and 9-5 Saturday An attendant is available to assist you, but please call the city office for a complete list of items that can be accepted at the site.

L&M Sanitation provides weekly residential garbage service through the city. Commercial garbage service can be arranged by calling L&M Sanitation.
