There is a township named Pleasant Township. This is all the information I have. Your best bet to find any further information on this matter would be to contact the Dunham Historical Society. You can call (605)539-9129, Doris Deneke can help you find more information. I hope this helps you find what you are looking for.

Hi Steve, since you found our website I would suggest you click on "Lodging" under Playing in Springs. There are a couple Wessington addresses. However, the rest of the lodges also are quite close in proximity so you could call any one of them.

Thank you Ken for the accolades! I have lived here 11 years now and find it to have some wonderful attributes. May I ask what brought you to our community?

This is one of the nicest small towns anyone could ever want to visit in South Dakota. The people that live there are the salt of the earth. Good solid hard working individuals. Friendly and helpful are two of the many words I could chose to describe these folks. Their land in the area is beautiful and full of wildlife. They are more than willing to share their bounty with nonresidents. They treat you like friends not tourists. You wont see trash along the roads like here in the eastern U.S.. It is a clean wholesome country that the folks have taken care of for centurys. When you go visit them remember to leave the place as you found it CLEAN ; and respect their land and cattle. Lock gates behind you when you enter pastures and always have permission. Respect the locals and they will treat you like an old friend. This is a special place. God bless you folks in the Springs.
