The public is invited to join us on Monday, February 1 at Springs Inn Café during our Annual Meeting of the Wessington Springs Area Community Foundation. We are recognizing all organizations who received grants in 2020. There will be a chili supper at 6:30 pm available for $7/person (includes drink/bun). Coffee and cookies will be sponsored by American Bank & Trust. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. At 7:15 p.m., Ginger Niemann, Grants Program Officer for the South Dakota Community Foundation will present via zoom “Stronger SD Through Partnerships” which will include information about grant opportunities for non-profit organizations. We will also hold a bingo fundraiser ($10/card) with prizes for our foundation to go towards local operating funds for mailings and marketing, since all other funds are given away through community grants.
There will be space for social distancing. Wear masks at your discretion. Please RSVP to Kendra Brandenburg, Coordinator by calling/texting 605-691-2170 with the number attending by Friday, January 29th, if you plan on coming for the meal. You may also contact the Coordinator for a zoom link for the presentation if you are not able to attend in person.
