Take in a show at the 1905 Opera House
Ran and operated by a local group of volunteers, the buildings history tells a story all it’s own. Today, it’s home to everything from local theater groups to musical entertainers from all over the country. Keep an eye on our current events page for upcoming shows.
Find some peace at the Garden
In the summertime, take a walk through our local Shakespeare Garden. The beautiful flower gardens will bring you peace and tranquility as you stroll through or find a bench to rest. It’s beautiful. In July, take in Music in the Garden events, and during the winter months the Anne Hathaway Cottage will give you a touch of England with Afternoon Tea at the Cottage. Make memories on our sledding hill that Travel South Dakota showcased as the TOP sledding hill in South Dakota! Our historic Ruby Gold ski lift will transport you back in time and provide a day full of exciting trips down the hill!
Camping in the Park
Spend a weekend with us in our beautiful city park. For $!5/ night you can have full hook-ups. It’s a first come first serve system - no reservations necessary. Hike the trails, swim, and take in a baseball game. Contact City Hall for more information
